Lotus Notes Processing
With more than 140 million licenses sold to date, IBM Lotus Notes is one of the leading email client and calendar applications used by corporations today. However, processing Lotus Notes emails and other files for electronic discovery poses a unique set of challenges for legal teams. Kiersted / Systems can help.
We have extensive experience in the secure and rapid processing of Lotus Notes files using our proprietary software to access the Lotus Notes object model and API. Our highly efficient, multi-threaded processing model scales to a virtually unlimited number of Domino servers—enabling us to support even the largest processing requirements. And our specialized knowledge of the Lotus Notes environment enables us to fix a majority of the issues that can occur with harvested NSF files, such as corruption and size constraint limitations.
Kiersted's processing tools read and store Lotus Notes metadata-enhancing the ability to search, index, deduplicate across custodians, and support review and output. For example, we create an accurate, high fidelity rendition of individual emails as they would look if printed (including all appropriate inline graphics and images). We also save attachments separately for maximum flexibility. As a result, review system users have access to metadata in the database, text pulled from Lotus Notes files, and a precise rendition of all items.
