George Kiersted President

With an extensive background in information technology and application development, George Kiersted identified the need for the special application of IT to the law and litigation sector more than two decades ago. Since the founding of Kiersted / Systems in 1984, he has built the company into a proven leader in providing advanced technology services to law firms and corporate legal departments in the areas of matter management, document management, discovery, and support for complex litigation. The company was one of the first on the e-Discovery scene, and under George’s guidance, has continued to develop powerful new processes, leveraging the latest technology and enhancing supporting technical systems to efficiently and accurately manage the vital e-Discovery practice area. George has continuously grown and developed the Kiersted / Systems staff, skills and practice areas of the firm to address emerging and critical industry needs like forensic services and legal hold. E. Andre Guilbeau  Executive Vice President

Since joining Kiersted / Systems in 1997, Andre Guilbeau has been instrumental in helping our clients dramatically improve the use of litigation technology-with an emphasis on electronic discovery, document management, and related processes. His deep experience has included the successful transformation of litigation processes and technology at one of the world’s largest oil companies. Andre has also led technical teams in completing highly automated complex, large-scale discovery projects with seemingly insurmountable deadlines. He has been a key leader in the establishment and operation of Kiersted / Systems’ electronic discovery services, which have helped numerous clients meet the challenges presented by this rapidly evolving area. Working closely with leaders in law departments, he and his team analyze business processes and implement changes to produce increased efficiency and accuracy at every level.

Linda Gordon Vice President, Sales and Marketing

Linda Gordon, a 30-year veteran with broad experience in technology-based solutions, is tasked with driving sales and account management practices that will support Kiersted / Systems’ growth objectives. Linda joined Kiersted / Systems after serving as the EVP of Sales and Marketing at Bridgeway Software, makers of matter management software. In this role, she helped grow the business 35 percent each year and helped build the infrastructure necessary to service Fortune 1000 corporations. Linda has a unique mix of sales management, general management and marketing skills, accumulated through career experience in start-up, middle market, government and Fortune 500 organizations. Linda earned her BA in Mathematics from the University of Texas.

Robert Harris  Vice President, Technology

Robert Harris has worked in database-driven software development since 1998, and joined Kiersted / Systems in 2001. As Vice President of Technology, Robert sets technological goals for the company, and supervises the Development and Operations Groups to ensure objectives are achieved. Robert has led significant technological developments at Kiersted, improving the online document review process for clients, and expanding the scalability of Kiersted services. When the company identified an opportunity to deploy a new processing center in the New York market, Robert re-engineered the KEPS suite of e-discovery processing software to run in multiple locations. He also spearheaded the development of Kiersted’s online document review tool, K4 “Rapid Review,” enhancing the user experience and improving the efficiency of tedious document review for clients. Working in collaboration with his team, Robert ensures deadlines are met and quality products are delivered, personally reviewing every line of code before it enters testing and production.

Amanda Heldt  Vice President, Consulting

With over 15 years of extensive industry experience as a lead technical consultant and project manager, Amanda Heldt manages system design and implementation at Kiersted / Systems. Throughout these years she has supported the legal and corporate security departments of top global companies, facilitating software implementation, developing custom legal matter management systems and designing and implementing advanced security management systems. With her uniquely capable consulting skills and unrivaled matter management expertise, Amanda expertly counsels Kiersted / Systems clients like Wal-Mart Stores and Shell Oil Co., helping them get the most out of their systems through proper configuration, maintenance and “tune-up” upgrades. Also a seasoned authority on new or replacement system implementation, she is respected by her clients for her commitment to recommending and delivering the best solution to suit their individual needs.

John Cottle Manager, Business Development

John Cottle brings a “customer first” attitude and more than 15 years of experience in the litigation support industry to his business development role at Kiersted / Systems. His extensive knowledge of national markets has enabled him to provide vital solutions to Kiersted / Systems clients. In one instance, his custom development efforts enabled a large energy company to produce over 20 million pages of records to satisfy an FTC second request. Previously, John held senior sales and operations positions at Daticon, Exxon, and Ikon Office Solutions. A graduate of the University of Northern Arizona, he is also a founding member of the Electronic Discovery Reference Model (EDRM).
